Minnesota Mountain Bike Trails

Fall had rolled across southwestern Minnesota, and we found ourselves chasing color in Lyon County.

We came for the bike trails and small-town charm, and found it in Minnesota’s Ottertail County.

Off-road trails at Belmont County Park in Jackson, MN put southwestern Minnesota on the mountain biking map.

A fatbike ride, hotdish cook-off and a lefse feed—a true Minnesota trifecta.

We visit Austin, Minnesota to experience what this southern trail town has to offer.

When an opportunity came up to get away for a weekend and camp at Lake Carlos State Park, we took it, of course.

Alexandria, MN is home to countless lakes, the Central Lakes State Trail, challenging singletrack, miles of back roads gravel and you need to visit.

For most of the weekend we traveled on two wheels and packed in a lot of sightseeing, just by riding the trails.
