DESCRIPTION:The Dirt Bag is an annual gravel grinder with a loyal following\, originally conceived by the late John Egbers and celebrated for its pure\, no-frills approach to gravel riding. \nThis is a true gravel grinder experience\, completely unsupported\, as is tradition. There are no official rest stops\, so riders are encouraged to help each other out along the way. It’s a ride that emphasizes camaraderie\, self-reliance\, and the sheer joy of tackling rugged roads together. Participation is free\, though donations are warmly encouraged to honor the spirit of the event. Maps will be shared on Strava and Ride with GPS via the ride’s Facebook page\, following the familiar routes from previous years\, and there won’t be cue sheets\, making this a ride for those who love adventure and the challenge of reading the roads for themselves. \n\n\n
