Named after early settlers in the area that used homemade wooden skis for work and transport, the Lotvola Cup is a 12km traditional, classic cross country ski event—no skating.

The popular and original classic trails at Maplelag traverse over rolling, wooded terrain, passing by numerous lakes. It’s an event for all levels of ability, from the youngest skier to the serious competitor. A special Maplelag token is given to all finishers and special awards to the top five male and female finishers. But, the focus is on each individual having fun, feeling good about finishing.
