The Glacial Lakes Trail is a 22-mile paved recreational trail from Wilmar through Spicer, New London, Hawick to Paynesville covering terrain created by glaciers 10,000 years ago which left a variety of rolling hills, prairie lakes and small forests.
You can take two side trips, one around Green Lake and another to Sibley State Park via a three mile paved shoulder. There is also a second trail for horseback riding.
