Valentine's Candlelight Snowshoe/Walk
Bring your sweetie out for an afternoon/evening candlelight walk or snowshoe on Saturday, February 11 between 3 and 9 p.m. at Lake Maria State Park. Short 1km and 2km trails will be lit with luminaries to guide you on your walk through the park. Registration fee: $2 includes snowshoe rental. Limited availability so you might have to wait for a pair to be turned in, or just walk the routes. Awards available for $8. A participant picnic will be available for a suggested donation to cover costs. In the event of extreme weather, event will be held February 18.

First City on the Mississippi Bike Ride
Multiple lenght ride from a 17 mile family friendly loop around Lake Bemidji to a serious 92 mile length ride traveling along the Heartland Trail, Magiizi Trail, and Paul Bunyan Trail. You choose your distance the day of the ride starting with a core 46 mile loop and adding on various side loops for the distance that is right for you. The ride is supported with sagg wagons and food stops.Come enjoy a beautiful ride around the Bemidji area.
36th Annual Split Rock Tour
The 36th Annual Split Rock tour will take place on Saturday July 21, 2012. This scenic bicycle tour will travel along the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior. Distances range from 15 to 100 miles.
