| Description: | Trail details and rating: The Bog Walk loop is a wide dirt/grass trail, mostly in the shade, mostly flat, accessible to large wheel strollers. The Balsam Trail is a wide dirt/grass trail, mostly in the shade, mostly hilly, one fairly steep hill, mostly accessible to large wheel strollers. The Paul Bunyan Trail is a wide paved bike trail, somewhat in the sun, accessible to large wheel strollers. The Interpretive Trail is a narrow dirt trail, in the shade, not accessible to strollers, but people with strollers could stay on the PB Trail since these are parallel. All loops rated 2+. Award: Hikin� Beaver leather pin, $8; IVV event book credit, $3; walk only, $2. Pre-registration for award is recommended: deadline is June 30. Awards can be reordered with $1.50 additional charge for postage/packing. Distance: Sanctioned for 10km, made up of three different loops of various distances. |
