PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. – Candlelight cross-country skiing will be held from 6-8:30 pm, Feb. 20 around Cataract Lake in Maplewood State Park, eight miles east of here on Highway 108.
Those attending can ski the one-mile trail, stand around the campfire and enjoy chili, bars and hot drinks inside the Trail Center.
A $5 daily ski pass is required and are available at the park; one-year ski passes can also be purchased at most sporting goods stores. A Minnesota state park sticker is also required.
