See the Minnesota State Flower, the Pink and White Showy Lady's Slipper in full bloom. This is a short ride - about 6 miles round trip- to see the beautiful lady's slipper orchids growing along the Lake Wobegon Trail. It's a free ride, but donations will be accepted.

The premier fall event in Northern Minnesota, the Headwaters 100 has something for everyone. The 100 mile and 75 mile rides feature the brilliant fall colors at Itasca State Park. The Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is a 7-mile mile paved trail beginning at the Croft Historic Mine Museum just north of Crosby and travels to Ironton and Riverton through the Cuyuna Country Recreation Area with its abandoned mines, deep, clear lakes and pine forests.
The Heartland Trail stretches 50 miles across the heartland of Minnesota linking Park Rapids, Dorset, Nevis, Akeley and Walker and Cass Lake in a ribbon of pavement. You can also catch a link at Akeley through the Chippewa National Forest to the Paul Bunyan Trail to Hackensack, and again at Cass Lake to ride the 18-mile Migizi Trail loop.
The Glacial Lakes Trail is a 22-mile paved recreational trail from Wilmar through Spicer, New London, Hawick to Paynesville covering terrain created by glaciers 10,000 years ago which left a variety of rolling hills, prairie lakes and small forests.
