The Superior Hiking Trail
is a 310-mile footpath largely following the rocky ridgeline above Minnesota's North Shore of Lake Superior.
It stretches from south of Jay Cooke State Park near Duluth to the 270 Degree Overlook just before the Canadian border. There are trailhead parking lots every five to ten miles, making it ideal for both day hikes and overnight camping.
