Welcome! Come join us in our home, situated among beautiful Norway pines in the Itasca Forest by the Kabekona River. Embracing Pines is located less than five miles from the picturesque Leech Lake, which offers opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, sailing..or simply drifting to wherever the lake's waves take you. If it strikes your fancy to simply rest and be still, we'll honor your wish. If it's cool, you can curl up with a good book and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in our Great Room. Our home is your home.

Renovated 1920's schoolhouse. AC guestrooms feature private bath, fireplace, TV/VCR with full breakfast. Adjoining Heartland Bike Trail in Dorset (famous for restuarants and shopping), we offer on-site quality bike rental. Close to numerous lakes, golf courses and shopping.

The North woods are calling. Enjoy the wilderness! Ski, snowboards, snowshoe, horseback ride, snowmobile or even dogsled. Visit the famous Vince Shute Bear Sanctuary and Ely Wolf center. We are just blocks Flandrau State Park which features hiking trails, groomed cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing and birding. Our Minnesota River Valley abounds in many species of birds to the delight of avid birders. New Ulm is also close to Swan Lake, a wildlife area of 450 acres that includes woods, thickets, grasslands, and wetlands. Minneopa State Park is also an easy drive away. For a change of pace, we are also near downtown New Ulm with its many unique shops and restaurants.
